Condition Details / Information Notes
Based on the assessment of the proposed development under paragraph A.2.(2)(i) of Class A with regards to the siting, design and external appearance, it is considered that as a consequence of the substantial scale and isolated siting of the proposed barn adjacent to a rural lane, this would result in the creation of a prominent and visually intrusive building that would fail to assimilate effectively with the open and verdant landscape to the detriment of the visual amenity of the area, in conflict with the provisions of policies SWDPR 05, SWDPR 28 and SWDPR 34 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review and Section 12 of the Framework which requires that the proposals should improve the character and quality of an area, contributing to and enhancing the natural and local environment by protecting and enhancing valued landscapes.
