No arboricultural justification has been provided for the proposed works
Although the tree is growing at an angle of (approximately) 30 degrees to the vertical, this is not an indication of recent movement. The tree has clearly been growing at an angle for many years, and is now exhibiting corrective upright growth. There are no signs of root plate movement. There are no gaps between the canopy of the subject tree and that of the neighbouring tree. This demonstrates that although the tree is growing at an angle, this is a stable situation, rather than a changing one.
The removal of the tree would be to the detriment of the woodland habitat, the Tenbury treescape, and to public amenity
