Thank you for your notification application of the proposed agricultural development as described above. Based upon the information provided with your application, I write to confirm the Council determine that the proposed development would not constitute Permitted Development. Insufficient information has been provided to demonstrate that the proposed building is reasonably necessary for the sole purpose of agriculture. Observations made during the site visit indicate the potential of equestrian use, which is not addressed within the submission. As such, the proposal fails to demonstrate a solely agricultural use as set out under Schedule 2, Part 6, Class A (d) of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended) and would not constitute permitted development. Therefore, the proposal does not constitute permitted development and would require planning permission.
