Condition Details / Information Notes
The replacement windows, incorporating standard 24 mm double glazing with applied glazing bars or single glazing with 44mm glazing bars, top-hung openings, and replica bullseye panes, fail to respect the historic character and significance of the listed building. The windows are not like-for-like replacements and do not reflect appropriate historic detailing in terms of construction, glazing, or proportions. As a result, the works are incongruous, causing less than substantial harm to the asset. As such the application is found to be contrary to policies SWDP6, SWDP21 and SWDP24 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan 2016 (SWDP), along with the requirements of the National Planning Policy Framework including chapters 12 and 16.
