The proposed single storey extension would connect to an existing two storey rear extension. When the proposed enlargement is added with the existing enlargement of the original dwellinghouse, the total addition would fail to comply with criterion (h)(i) and (g) and therefore criterion (ja) of Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A of the Town and Country (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended). The development would not constitute permitted development and planning permission will be required.
