Thank you for your notification application of the proposed agricultural development as described above. Based upon the information provided with your application, I write to confirm the Council determine that the proposed development would not constitute Permitted Development. Insufficient information has been provided to show that the proposed building is reasonably necessary for the purposes of agriculture and as such the proposal can not benefit from permitted development rights under Part 6 of the General Permitted Development Order 2015 (as amended). The proposal would include an extension and external alterations to make the former cart shed appear more domestic in terms of appearance. As such, the proposal would fail to comply with the criteria as set out under Schedule 2, Part 6, Class A (d) of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended) not would not constitute permitted development. Therefore, the proposal does not constitute permitted development and would require planning permission.
